DarylDaryl's focus is to help non-profit organizations better achieve their missions by uncovering adequate ongoing funding sources, developing innovative grant writing strategies, and assisting with budgetary planning. Daryl has expertise in new venture start-up as well as ongoing program management, and is a seasoned grant writer.

Daryl's career in non-profit management began in Philadelphia were she received her Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. She worked for a number of years for the City of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Healthy Start Program and for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a budget analyst, grant writer and grants management specialist.

In July 1999, Daryl relocated to the Washington, DC area where she worked for five years as the Administrative/Fiscal Director of the Center for Genetic Medicine at Children's National Medical Center (CNMC). During her tenure at CNMC, she assisted in tripling the Center's annual budget and in starting up two new large-scale research programs at the institution.

Since beginning her non-profit consulting practice, Daryl has worked with the Learning Disabilities Association, Children's National Medical Center as well as smaller non-profit organizations. Daryl's devotion to good causes carries over in to her personal life, where she worked for a number of years as a volunteer camp counselor at the Muscular Dystrophy Association summer camp program and as a court appointed special advocate for underprivileged youth.
