BIO
Jim works with government, corporate and nonprofit clients across the country as an active participant in workshops, conferences and problem-solving sessions. Drawing on 25+ years experience as a designer and illustrator, Jim quickly visualizes a group’s thoughts and the concepts being discussed, providing the immediate sensory feedback that his audience can easily grasp and respond to. As a result, participants are more engaged in the discussion, achieve results more quickly and share a greater sense of ownership in the outcomes.
Jim’s focus is on creating compelling visuals that capture conversations in a variety of settings.
In addition to his real-time artistic work, he works with clients in designing a variety of print materials, as well as creating illustrations for editorial, institutional and advertising use.
Jim holds a BFA in Communication Arts and Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition to holding leadership roles with design organizations in the Washington, D.C., area, he is a Red Cross volunteer and has worked on refugee resettlement efforts through his church. Jim is married, with three children, and enjoys gardening and travel.
