Laura Hammons

Laura helps leaders and managers increase their effectiveness and improve both their individual and organizational performance; leadership and executive coaching is her specialty.

BIO

Laura delivers coaching as part of leadership development planning programs at Strategy Arts.  Her individualized approach transforms leadership styles, behaviors and performance. A recent project involved designing program curriculum and providing coaching for rising leaders at United Way Southeastern Pennsylvania. Her breadth of coaching experience has proven her effectiveness working with clients in small, mid-sized and large organizations. Laura is also affiliated with Penn’s Wharton School of Business and Villanova University’s School of Business as a leadership and executive coach.

Laura is currently focused on helping leaders and managers foster awareness of their leadership capabilities though assessment tools and self-observation. Her particular interest incorporates working in the areas of communication and leadership presence.

Additional areas of interest and experience include her work facilitating leadership development workshops and conducting research and analysis projects for nonprofit and for profit clients.

Laura earned a masters degree in Cross-Cultural Communications from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Music from Oberlin College. She is a graduate of the Georgetown University Leadership Coaching program and is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. She has served on the board of the Philadelphia Area Coaches Alliance. Laura performs regularly as a violinist with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Symphony Orchestra and the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra, and enjoys bicycling, Chinese calligraphy and travel.
